01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember you — which session you have open, which language you chose, whether you have already answered this notice.
In this policy, the word cookies also covers equivalent technologies that serve similar functions: local storage in the browser, pixels and measurement tags.
02Why we need your consent
In Portugal, placing non-essential cookies requires your prior, freely given, specific and informed consent, under Law no. 41/2004 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
In practice, that means:
- The essential cookies are placed without consent, because without them the service you requested cannot be provided.
- All the others are only placed after you say yes. We do not pre-activate them, we do not activate them because you carry on browsing, and refusing is as easy as accepting.
- We do not place non-essential cookies before you interact with the cookie notice.
03Which categories of cookies we use
The complete, up-to-date list of the cookies actually placed, with the name, provider and duration of each one, is available in the Cookie settings panel, reachable from the footer of every page. Below we explain what each category is for.
3.1 · Strictly necessary cookies — always on
They make the site and the platform work. Without them, you cannot log in or browse securely.

These cookies are necessary to provide the service you requested and therefore do not depend on consent.
3.2 · Performance and analytics cookies — only with consent
They help us understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, where people drop off, what is slow. The data is processed in aggregate form and serves to improve the site and the product.
Whenever the tool allows it, we turn on IP address anonymisation and turn off the sharing of data with third parties for advertising purposes.
3.3 · Functionality cookies — only with consent
They improve the experience without being indispensable. That is the case of the support chat available on the site and of the playback of embedded videos.
3.4 · Marketing cookies — only with consent
They let us measure the results of our campaigns and present relevant content on third-party platforms. If you refuse this category, you will still see the whole site; we simply stop being able to measure where your visit came from.
04Third-party cookies
Some of the cookies above are placed by third parties, which act as controllers of the data collected in that way, under their own privacy policies. Each provider is identified in the Cookie settings panel, with a direct link to its policy.
Some of these services involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area. For the applicable safeguards, see Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
05How to manage your preferences
5.1 · On our site
You can change your choices at any time in Cookie settings, in the footer of every page. The change takes effect immediately and your choice is kept for 6 months, after which we will ask you again.
Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it. You lose access to nothing essential by refusing.

Bear in mind that blocking all cookies will stop parts of the site and of the platform from working, in particular logging in.
06And inside the platform?
In the Guestdash application, the area where our clients work, we use only essential cookies: session, security and interface preferences. We do not place marketing cookies in the authenticated area of the product.
07Changes to this policy
Whenever we add, remove or change tools that use cookies, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change involves new purposes, we will ask for your consent again.
